An opening assumption states the day it ends
An end date tells a reader whether the page is still in use.
An opening-assumption page carries four lines: the sentence at that time, the day it was written, the day it stops, and the cases it does not cover. The end date is not a forecast horizon and it is not a profit term. After that day, the page leaves use, and a reader should not treat it as the current sentence. An observation sheet and a revised statement each keep their own date. They do not borrow the opening end date. This paper is not investment advice, an actuarial opinion, or a medical opinion.
- All four lines are present
- Past the end date, the page stops
- Do not call the end date a profit term
- Other pages keep their own dates
